Ganana Tesfa, MD, has been practicing medicine and advancing his field for more than 35 years. Dr. Tesfa graduated medical school from the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine, where he earned the Gateway Medical Association Academic Achievement Award. He then completed both his Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His clinical special interests include adult clinical neurology, with emphasis on migraines and epilepsy, and electroencephalography, ambulatory EEG monitoring, and electromyography. Dr. Tesfa is fluent in both English and Amharic, and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In his spare time, Dr. Tesfa enjoys cooking and playing racquetball.
Amy Lewis has been practicing in the medical field since the year 2000, starting out as a nurse and then moving on to Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in 2011. Amy earned both her bachelors as well as her masters from The University of Texas at Arlington, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her clinical interests include dementia, seizures, Parkinson's disease, and peripheral neuropathy. She also treats sleep disorders and epilepsy. When Amy is not working she can be found painting and enjoying time in the great outdoors with her husband, two teenage sons, and their lovable dog, Beth.
